I had great news. The cancer is still in remission. Nothing showed up in the scan this time. I will have to do maintenance treatments which should be easier on my system for 3 months and another scan. My body is saying no to more treatments, but because my cancer has been so aggressive, my doctor would like me to do 3 more months. This is the best news I have had in the last 5 1/2 years. I've used Paypal to pay on ebay for ten years. I put about $20,000 to $30,000 per year on their credit card for almost everything, including medical expenses. Every few months, I get a foolish message that I have a problem, but I'm not that stupid as to log in at those emails. I notify their security, but never get any answer, other than don't log into those messages. I always pay off my card each month, so no past failure to pay issues.

I tried to pay for an item the other day, and their site has had me blocked for this month. I had to deal with two morons who gave me no answers. I guess they wanted me to look at their plan options, and used this lame excuse to have me waste time speaking to Chumputra from Bango-Pingo. I cancelled the Paypal credit card, and now using a VISA from my bank. Are they that stupid as to annoy a good customer just so they can offer me services I don't want or need?

Plus, as ebay and Paypal are the same...

Mom's health

My mom fell Thursday night, but did not break any bones, but is dealing with many other issues. Her potassium level is extremely high which means her kidneys are shutting down. The doctor says it could be days or maybe weeks before she passes on. Please keep our family in your prayers.

My guys are shipping daily, but don't hesitate if you have any questions.

A long road back.....

It has been a long time since I have been on here, but I'm glad to be back and see that the hobby is alive and well. I'm an over-the-road trucker and have collected toy trucks since I was a kid. I suffered a heart attack on April 30, 2011 on the parking lot of the company I drive for. Bypass surgery, and six months of recovering, and I returned to driving on November 1. I've been out of the hobby since my heart attack, haven't bought any trucks because of medical expenses, but I'm happy to say that I'm back in the swing. I plan to attend the St. Louis show in February and get back into the hobby that I love. I've been catching up on the posts here, and I'd like to say to all of you, keep it up. I appreciate the information you share and the pictures, etc. that you post. Trucking is my life, and mini-trucking is my passion. Happy New Year!

Health update

One more chemo treatment on Tuesday and this round will be done. I will have a scan Jan. 10th and find out the results the 12th. Then we will decide the next step. My doctor is amazed with my progress and we pray that the next scan will show improvement also. He told me a few weeks ago, by all rights that I should not be alive, much less have such good reports. I appreciate your prayers, calls and emails checking on me. It is nice to have another Christmas with my wife and 2 son's. I feel so blessed. I look forward to another great year and appreciate the ones that have made our business what it is.

I'm in need of a set of turned aluminum tanks, one inch long (1.0 inch exactly). The photograph below shows tank (I've added red tape stripe over the straps). Only seen longer tanks on ebay lately. Don't care if fuel cap is in center, or at end, or not there. Thanks for any leads. Chuck
